AMPLIFICATION

At Maga Engineering we use our own amplification. Our new ME 5K (5000 W), ME 10K (10 000 W) and ME 20K (20 000 W) are 4-channel amplifiers with state-of-the-art technologies that integrate silicon carbide (SiC) transistors, universal power supply and a potent DSP processor with high-performance AD/DA converters at 96 KHz/24 bits.

These units have been specifically designed to amplify our LINE ARRAY SYSTEMS and MAGA MINI SYSTEMS. They offer exceptional performance, reliability and sound quality with unbeatable value for money, and are covered by a 2-year limited warranty programme

As alternative options to our amplifiers, we recommend a range of products developed by Lab.gruppen® and Powersoft®.

All these amplifiers are based on cutting-edge, industry-standard technologies that have been consistently time-proven in terms of quality, reliability and performance. They also provide DSP functions with a comprehensive management system, and offer Ethernet, AES/EBU and Dante® connectivity.

In order to minimise the risk of connection errors and make it easier for the user to handle and install our systems, all amplifiers are distributed in their own flight-case properly machined and labelled, and come with a fully wired connection panel. Moreover, all DSP processors built into the amplifiers are programmed with factory presets specifically designed for the system configuration chosen by the user.

LINE-ARRAY SYSTEMS – Recommended amplifiers

Our line-array systems are delivered to the client as a turnkey project. To maximise their performance, we recommend using the Maga Engineering® amplifiers ME 10K (for ME16V line-array cabinets) and ME 20K (for ME20V line-array cabinet and ME218LEX subwoofers).

As an alternative to our own amplifiers, we suggest units from the Lab.gruppen® PLM Series™ (PLM 12K44 and PLM 20K44 models) or the Powersoft® X Series™ (X8, X4L and X4 models).

MAGA MINI Systems – Recommended amplifiers

Our Maga Mini systems can be either powered or passive. In the powered Maga Mini systems, the acoustic cabinets include amplification modules developed by Powersoft® and RAM Audio®. These advanced solutions include high-performance DSP processors programmed with factory presets specially tailored for the corresponding Maga Mini system configuration.

For passive Maga Mini systems, we recommend our Maga Engineering® ME 5K and ME 10K amplifiers.

Alternatively to our own amplification, we suggest using Powersoft® T Series™ units. For more details about models and specifications, please visit www.powersoft.com.

ACOUSTIC SIMULATION AND PREDICTION SOFTWARE

All our VERTICAL Series line array enclosures (ME10V, ME10V Wide, ME16V, ME20V and ME46V MKII), as well as the ME121LEX (single 21”) and ME218LEX (dual 18”) subwoofers from the SUB Series, and the ME5SX and ME8S from the SPOT Series, are fully supported by EASE® Focus 3 3D acoustic simulation and prediction software.
